Short Term Parking
Short term parking is available if you are parking on the UCI campus for four days or less. Permit dispensers are available at all times and accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and cash. Please visit Visitor Parking for dispenser locations. Parking attendants are available at information kiosks at many campus entrances. Please visit Information Kiosk Hours and Locations for a map of locations and hours of operation.

Signs are posted at the entrance to each parking area indicating which type of permit is valid in that area. Check your permit for valid dates and times. Please use the UCI Commuter Zone Parking map as a reference for valid student parking lots.
- The UCI Division of Continuing Education evening permit is valid from 4pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday,
in unmarked stalls and in AR Preferred stalls after 5 pm only (except AR Preferred stalls marked “Enforced
- The UCI Division of Continuing Education all day permit is valid in unmarked stalls every day from 7am to 10pm and in AR Preferred stalls after 5 pm only (except AR Preferred stalls marked “Enforced 24 Hours”).
UCI Division of Continuing Education permits are NOT valid in:
- AR Preferred spaces marked “Enforced 24 Hours”
- AR Preferred spaces before 5pm
- Resident Parking lots
- Faculty and Staff Parking Only lots (before 5pm unless marked “Enforced 24 Hours”)
- Posted special events areas
- Disabled, Medical, Service or metered spaces
- Student Health Center, Lot 19A
Disabled Student Parking
Provisions may be made for handicapped parking and classroom access. Please contact UCI Transportation and Distribution Services
at (949) 824-7486, or the Office for Disability Services at (949) 824-7494 for assistance.
No refunds available on parking permits (except on courses cancelled or discontinued by UCI Division of Continuing Education.
Permits must be returned in order to receive the refund.)
UCI Division of Continuing Education is not responsible for lost or stolen permits. In such cases, you may purchase another permit
from UCI Division of Continuing Education or use the curbside dispensers each time you park.
Obtaining A Parking Permit
When you enroll in a UCI Division of Continuing Education course, you may purchase a quarterly UCI Division of Continuing Education parking permit. Your class
schedule determines the type of permit available to you (evening or all day). UCI Division of Continuing Educations permits expire at the end
of the scheduled quarter and the expiration date is listed on your permit. Your permit is valid beginning on the start date of
the quarter for which you are enrolled. Please visit our Academic Calendar for a list of important
Parking permits ordered through UCI Division of Continuing Education will be mailed to the student via first-class mail to the address on the student profile. Parking permits are not automatically held by the Student Services for pick up.
- Evening permit: $50.00*
Valid 4pm-10pm, Mon-Fri and all day Saturday and Sunday.
- Day permit: $74.00*
Valid 7am-10pm, Monday through Sunday.

be subject to additional fees.
Concurrent Enrollment and UCI Division of Continuing Education International Programs Students
You may purchase a permit directly from Transportation and Distribution Services office, Building 7, Room 200, Monday through
Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Motorcycle Parking Permits
All motorcycles and mopeds must display valid Motorcycle Parking Permits. This permit must be purchased in person at the Transportation
and Distribution Services office, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Please direct questions and/or comments concerning

The parking area nearest to the UCI Division of Continuing Education complex is the Anteater Parking Structure (APS). You may find directions to our building here. Make sure to give yourself ample time to park on the UCI Campus.
