Digital Certificates

To earn a Certificate, participants must complete all course and grade requirements within five (5) years of initial enrollment for the program.

Please refer to the Certificate Eligibility and Requirements section under your specified program.

Please note: Certificates will be issued digitally starting July 1, 2018 and complimentary paper copies will be issued to students who complete their final program requirement by September 30, 2018.

Certificate Program

  • Step 1: Declare your Candidacy
    After taking your first course and before completing your third course in the program:
    1. Log into your MY ACCOUNT
    2. Select “Declaration of Candidacy/Specialized Studies”
    3. Select your program and pay $125
  • Step 2: Request your Certificate
    After enrolling in your final course of the program
    1. Log into your MY ACCOUNT
    2. Select the link that states “Request for Certificate” in the same area as you paid your Declaration of Candidacy.

    Digital certificates will be issued within two weeks once your records have been audited. You will receive an email from Parchment Inc. to retrieve your digital certificate.

    Please note that instructors have up to two weeks to post grades after the final end date of each course. Please inform us of any changes to your email to prevent any delays in receiving your digital certificate.

Specialized Studies certificates will be issued digitally within two weeks after your records have been audited. You will receive an email from Parchment Inc. to retrieve your digital certificate.

Request a Duplicate Paper Certificate ($35/copy)

To request a paper certificate:

  1. Log into your MY ACCOUNT.
  2. View your unofficial transcripts to confirm that your award for the program is posted.
  3. Select “Order Paper Certificate” and pay $35

Your paper certificate should be mailed to you within 1-2 weeks of submission. Please note that delivery to certain locations may take longer. For an additional fee, your order can be expedited with a tracking number.

All required courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better, within five years, unless otherwise noted.
