Chris Sanders is an Aerospace Project, Program and Portfolio Management Professional and holds certifications in the Federal Government as well as Commercial Acquisition fields for both Program and Project Management as well as Contracting.
Chris currently works for the University of Colorado, Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, where he oversees Business and Programmatic aspects of an international collaborative program: a Deep Space Satellite research mission to the main asteroid belt called The Multiple Asteroid eXplorer (MAX). The project is to perform research on 6 asteroids and land on a seventh main asteroid. The project is slated for launch in 2028. Before MAX, Chris was part of the program management team for the United Arab Emirates Mars Mission (EMM).
Chris is a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute, a Federal Government Level III Program Management Acquisition Professional, and a Federal Government Level II Contracting Professional.
