The letters preceding a course number indicate the University of California campus at which there is an equivalent course, e.g., XI-Irvine, XL-Los Angeles. A "C" immediately following the campus designation indicates a concurrent course (campus regular session course in which UCI Division of Continuing Education students may concurrently enroll), e.g., XIC-Irvine campus concurrent course. When the letter "X" alone is used, the course is offered only through UCI Division of Continuing Education and is not equivalent to a regular session course.
