Leadership and Aikido

This course is designed to develop leadership skills and empower learners* to succeed academically, socially, and professionally. Join a community of friends and mentors to learn Aikido, a Japanese martial art, in a non-competitive environment.

You will learn practical applications of theories of leadership, communication, and self-efficacy through lessons in Aikido, personal reflection, and current articles. The course focuses on skills that support academic and professional success. It is offered in partnership with Budo Accelerator, Inc. and learners meet at their studio in Irvine, CA.

*Learners must be 18 years or older to enroll.
