TESOL Observation & Practice

This course provides participants with chances to observe, experience, and practice the principles taught throughout the TESOL certificate program, through observation experiences and teaching simulations. Students will observe classrooms in multiple settings and reflect on their observations, and they will then prepare and present their own lessons in the online course, tailored to a specific learner audience. A combination of self-reflection and professional critique will provide participants with the information needed to improve culturally responsive teaching practices.

Prerequisite: EDUC X485.7 TESOL Observation and Practice should be taken after a minimum of five required TESOL courses have been successfully completed.
