Introduction to Business Process Optimization

This course will provide participants with an understanding of key concepts, methods, and tools needed to optimize business processes in a rapidly changing business world. Participants will explore both the challenges and opportunities presented in an environment characterized by extreme volatility, uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity, while learning about strategy deployment, business agility, and the use (and potential misuse) of GenAI. Students will also be introduced to business process architectures, process maturity models, and popular business improvement methodologies such as Lean and Agile.
