Frequently Asked Questions
This year’s ceremony will include learners who were not included in last year’s ceremony and learners who have earned their certificate or specialized studies certificate during the Summer 2023 – Winter 2024 quarters and candidates who will earn their certificate in the Spring 2024 quarter.

No, certificates are not distributed at the ceremony. After the completion of all program requirements, a Certified Digital Certificate is awarded directly to the student. Duplicate paper certificates are available for $45/copy on the DCE student portal.
Register your vehicle for complimentary parking near UCI DCE. All guests are required to use a unique “Park by Plate” link to park for the ceremony. Register your vehicle by 11:59pm on 6/17 to receive complimentary. Those who do not register by this time will be responsible for purchasing a permit for $13 upon arrival. Use parking code: DCE@UCI
