Free Panel Discussion Held on June 22 at UC Irvine; Must Register to Attend
IRVINE, Calif. – May 17, 2018 – Neglecting to prepare for internal succession planning can prove to be fatal for organizations. The costs of not preparing for transitions in executive roles are incredibly high. On Friday, June 22, from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m., the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education (DCE) will host a free "HRTalks: Succession Planning Excellence" event on the UCI campus. Designed to provide information on how to cultivate a strong succession plan for organizations, this event will feature a keynote session and a Q&A panel with industry experts sharing best practices on supporting the development of the next generation of leaders.
“Transitioning executives can prove to be a costly process and unfortunately, too few companies are prepared with proper succession plans,” said Brian Breen, Director of Corporate Education at UCI DCE. “This HRTalks event will provide attendees with a look into what they need to know to be prepared for the future.”
Keynote speaker, Kevin Groves, Ph.D., is a professor, consultant and author of “Winning Strategies” and will present the key findings and practical applications on the topic of succession planning. He will also cover practical applications, tools and tips for enhancing executive succession outcomes. The Q&A panel will feature insights from:
