UCI Division of Continuing Education Sponsors Event with Seth Godin, Marketing Guru

IRVINE, Calif. – January 29, 2010 – University of California, Irvine Extension, the continuing education arm of UC Irvine, announces its sponsorship of “One Night to Discover: How to Be Indispensable,” a presentation from marketing and new media guru Seth Godin. Hosted by Bryan Elliott, founder of two of Orange County’s top networking organizations, LinkedOC and the SoCal Action Sports Network, the event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the St. Regis Hotel & Spa located at 1 Monarch Resort in Dana Point, Calif.

Seth Godin is a bestselling author, entrepreneur and author of ten books that have been bestsellers around the world. His books have impacted the way people think about marketing, change and work. In addition, Godin served as founder and CEO of Yoyodyne, the industry‘s leading interactive direct marketing company, which Yahoo! acquired in late 1998 and was called "the Ultimate Entrepreneur for the Information Age" by Business Week.

“One Night to Discover: How to Be Indispensable” will discuss new ways for professionals to think about communicating ideas. In addition, Godin will share with participants his insights into working creatively.
