Whether you need to take the GRE, LSAT, GMAT or a pre-college exam (ACT or SAT), we have a preparation course that will help you reach your test date with the confidence and skills you need to perform at your best.
All test preparation courses are offered live-online, giving you the option to choose the schedule that works best for you. Our virtual classroom provides you with the flexibility to attend class from any location, the opportunity to interact in real time with our expert instructors, and the ability to re-watch the recordings of your classes at your convenience through 120 days after the last scheduled class session.
The Live-Online courses use Adobe Connect, a free browser plug-in. Students need a high-speed Internet connection and speakers or headphones.

Meet Our Instructors
Milton Achelpohl is a teacher, student and writer. He has been tutoring for over 10 years and has a wide range of teaching experience from kindergarten to undergraduate. He holds a BA from Stanford University in Political Science and African & African American Studies, as well as an MA from Stanford University in Sociology.
He is currently a PhD student at Rutgers University in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies with research focused on White Masculinity, Settler Colonialism, Biopolitics and Black Feminist Theory. Milton has experience with the ACT, SAT, GRE and LSAT and a background in undergraduate admissions
Caren Bennett is an instructor with a 15-year teaching background and a wide range of life and test-taking skills that have enabled her to reach a myriad of students with diverse backgrounds. As a lifelong learner herself, Caren is passionate about helping others connect to their personal learning styles in order to obtain learning goals.
A graduate of Louisiana Tech and mother of three, she combines humor, a passion for learning, and critical thinking skills to lead her students to success. She is a firm believer in the cliche — ‘Laughter is the best medicine’ — especially for test anxiety.
Michael Craig has taught LSAT, GRE, GMAT, SAT, and ACT exam preparation for ETC for more than a decade. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Nonprofit Management, Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Houston. Craig also received his Teaching Certification in the state of Texas.
In addition to his teaching and training background, Craig has experience in nonprofit administration, curriculum design, and instructor development. He serves on the faculty of Dallas College, and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership fraternity.
Born into a family of educators, Larry Elkins has carried on this tradition, working with students of all ages. Larry currently teaches GRE, LSAT, ACT and SAT test prep, utilizing his comprehensive training and experience with all exams. Larry attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, receiving a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1996 and a M.A. in Education in 1998.
He taught in Montgomery County Public Schools for 13 years before moving to the Shenandoah Valley. As a public school teacher, Larry consistently helped his students achieve high success rates on state standardized tests. He was recognized as a 2010 finalist for the McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence. Drawing on a strong background in mathematics, education, and test preparation, Larry enjoys seeing his test prep students achieve their full potential on these exams.
While continuing his career in education, Larry is now a leading agent at Town & Country Insurance LLC, dba AdventSure where he helps business-owners and individuals from across the country from the comfort of his home. This allows him to work toward a second decade of test preparation instruction.
Ilya Gofman has been helping students prepare for various exams including the GRE, GMAT, and SAT for over ten years. He started tutoring shortly after obtaining his BA from Yale in philosophy and continued after receiving an MA in the same subject from the New School for Social Research. He has also received comprehensive training for teaching full GRE and GMAT classes. When he’s not tutoring or teaching, Ilya teaches philosophy as an adjunct at several Connecticut universities, including Southern CT State.
Ilya believes that taking a standardized test does not have to be a harrowing experience, especially when you break the test down into recognizable problem types and know what to expect. He encourages students to think of preparing for a standardized test like they are training for a marathon: although considerable hard work is required, they can visualize the finish line on test day and know that they have the coaching to reach it.
Carlos is a lawyer and LSAT instructor. He has 16 years of experience in the legal field, mainly in criminal defense. He has won several awards for his legal work, including Super Lawyers three times and National Trial Lawyers Association Top 100.
Carlos is passionate about helping students achieve their goals and succeed on the LSAT as well as in the legal profession. He has significant experience in criminal law and can offer valuable insights and tips to his students on how to approach the LSAT questions and scenarios. Carlos enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with his students and helping them reach their full potential.
Patricia Guillory is an experienced instructor who has provided a broad range of students with the skills to achieve their educational goals. For the last nineteen years, Patricia has been teaching math at the community college level and working with students preparing for the SAT and ACT.
She holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Patricia is passionate about the success of her students and understands the need for diverse teaching strategies.
Rebecca Imre is an experienced instructor who has worked with students of all levels and abilities throughout her career. She has taught English writing and literature, English as a Second Language and physical and environmental science during her tenure of nearly 20 years as a high school teacher. As a college instructor, she has delivered both English and education content to undergraduate students. Her passion is working with students who need assistance in developing their skills to succeed at the college level. She presently teaches at South Effingham High School near Savannah, Georgia.
Rebecca earned her B.A. in English as well as a Master of Education and Doctor of Education degree from Valdosta State University. She also owns and operates Plain English, a writing company that provides technical content for websites and online resources. She brings her years of experience in “real world” applications of verbal, quantitative and logic skills to help students prepare for standardized testing.
Eric Moon is an experienced and driven professor of mathematics, against all original expectations. Native to Nashville, Tennessee, Eric’s original education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign languages, with a French emphasis, from Middle Tennessee State University in 1996.
Four years later, maybe a little bored with the foreign language scene in the U.S., Eric decided to return to school to conquer an old enemy—mathematics. After having worked harder for it than he could have ever anticipated, Eric earned the Master of Science degree in pure mathematics—also from MTSU—in 2003.
As a graduate teaching assistant during those years, he had no difficulty deciding what to do with his new credentials. Among Eric’s greatest passions is success—however you may personally envision it. For additional fun, he loves getting better at playing classical guitar and is an avid motorcyclist.
Mike Morrissey is an experienced teaching assistant and instructor. He recently received his M.A. in philosophy from Florida State University, where he concentrated in the areas of just war theory and property-owning democracy. Mike has also taught various philosophy courses to undergraduate students, ranging from political philosophy to bioethics. Prior to that Mike earned his B.A. from the same institution, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
He is familiar with the challenges presented by preparing for the LSAT and wants to show others how the test can be conquered and even enjoyed.
Tyler Shuman is a teacher, amateur mathematician, and science fiction enthusiast. She has a joint B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science, as well as an M.A. in Political Science, both from Emory University. She began tutoring peers in high school and college, and is currently pursuing a career in education.
She has worked with students ranging in ages from seven to thirty-five, and has taught reading, writing, science, and most varieties of math. She likes learning new things, whatever they may be, and is looking forward to supporting others on their educational journeys.
