Project Initiation

All courses in the Project Management Program require a PMI membership. By becoming a PMI member, you'll gain access to Standards+ and a digital version of the most recent PMBOK® Guide, both of which are required for this course. Enrolled students can take advantage of a discounted PMI Student Membership, offering full benefits at an affordable price (annual student status verification required).

This course will host live sessions via Zoom. A device with audio and visual will be needed to participate. Synchronous sessions are highly encouraged for an interactive learning experience but are optional. Sessions are recorded and available for viewing, allowing learners to engage with the content at their convenience.

This is an in person course. This course meets in a traditional classroom setting on the UC Irvine Campus. In addition to the scheduled in-person meetings, course materials and asynchronous activities will be hosted in Canvas, UC Irvine’s online course management system.

A valid parking permit is required at all times when parking on campus. Visitors may purchase a permit at any information kiosk, dispenser, or through UC Irvine Transportation’s My Commute Portal.
