Fundamental Practice of Teaching Artistry: K-12 Arts Education

This course is designed to prepare you to teach K-12 students and work with arts educators and organizations. In this course, you will gain foundational knowledge to apply your arts discipline to Teaching Artist positions in elementary or secondary school settings, as well as in programs developed and run by arts organizations. Topics include pedagogy, designing lessons to arts education standards, child and adolescent development for the arts, youth protection, and working with schools and organizations.
