Course Description
Learn the basic analytical and mathematical tools used in personal financial planning. The concepts of cash flow, time value of money, present value, future value, annuities, amortization, net present value, and internal rate of return will be explored.
Early registration recommended. This course is required to sit for the CFP Examination.
A prerequisite for all PFP courses. With equivalent experience, course may be taken out of sequence.
The HP-12C or HP-10BII calculator is required.
You may access your online course on the first day of class by 12pm (noon) Pacific Standard Time. This online course may include webinars using an online conferencing tool called Zoom. All webinars will be recorded and posted on the course website for those who cannot participate in the live sessions.
