Orange County Holocaust Museum
Did you know that Orange County has its own Holocaust Museum? The Holocaust Education Center holds over 700 artifacts from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp recovered and used by renowned survivor Mel Mermelstein, the only member of his family to survive the camps. The artifacts are more than a remembrance. He has used the collection to create artwork as part of his reckoning for the death of his family in the Holocaust and is the centerpiece of the Center. Join us as we take a guided tour of the exhibit featuring immersive experiences and survivor testimonies followed by a presentation from a second-generation survivor.
