Love, life, murder, revenge, death (usually untimely). Widely known as the greatest writer in the English language, Shakespeare wrote about it all in words that still live today. This is a rare opportunity to see the first compilation of his plays. Printed in 1623, First Folio is considered one of the most valuable books in the world. Learn about writings that inspired him and handle other displayed material under guidance of UCI Research Librarians. This Special Event has been created to complement the AH 104 Shakespeare’s First Folio course.

Note: Special Events are open to both members and non-members! However, only current OLLI members are able to enroll in a Special Event online. If you are not a current OLLI member but would like to enroll in a Special Event, please call the Student Affairs & Student Services office at (949) 824-5414 and they will assist you with enrollment over the phone. Their hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
