Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease encompasses a large and diverse spectrum of disease with consequences that can span decades. Education, prevention, early recognition and intervention are critical for success. We will discuss a patient with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, from symptom development to treatment, focusing on all considerations that go into the decisions made treating this disease as well as common complications.
