AH 106 BRUSH UP YOUR SHAKESPEARE

Even after 400 years, the Bard of Avon still has a lot to say to us. But sometimes, it’s not that
easy to understand what he is saying! In this interactive class, we will do a ‘deep-dive’ into
Henry IV and one other Shakespeare play of the group’s choosing. We will read the plays aloud and discuss and analyze the themes, plot, and language, with the aid of video clips of scenes and other background materials. Summon up your inner Kenneth Branagh, Ian McClellan, Helen Mirren, and Judi Dench, and join us!

NOTE: Enrollment is limited to 20 registered participants. Required text: latest Folger edition of
the plays. This class will not be recorded for later viewing.
