AH 105 HISTORIC ARTISTS OF LAGUNA BEACH

Known for its clear, intense sunlight and mild climate, Laguna Beach has long been distinguished as a popular artists’ colony. Noted Art Historian Jean Stern will discuss many of the prominent
painters living in Laguna Beach between 1890 and 1930, with a presentation of their artwork and rare archival photographs. Some of the American Impressionists included will be: Franz Bischoff, Alson Clark, Anna Hills, Edgar Payne, Guy Rose and Granville Redmond.
