MASTERS OF BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY

Even in the age of Instagram, black and white images remain an important part of the art of photography. In this class, we will review the factors that can make black and white a more compelling choice for certain types of images and discuss the some of the technical elements in evaluating black and white photographs. We will then review the work of some of the great photographers best known for their black and white images in the fields of landscape, portrait, and street photography.
