In this “limited edition” book group, we’ll explore Paris in three different eras through historical fiction.
February 15: The Lady and the Unicorn, by Tracy Chevalier. The imagined backstory of one of the masterpieces of European medieval art.
March 22: The Elegance of the Hedgehog, by Muriel Barbery. The lives of the concierge, a troubled girl, and a Japanese businessman intersect in a Paris apartment building.
May 17: The Paris Library, by Janet Skeslien Charles. A young librarian struggles to keep the American Library in Paris open during World War II; 40 years later, her story changes the life of a teenager in small-town Montana.
