THE SUPREME COURT 2018-2019 TERM
THE SUPREME COURT 2018-2019 TERM
SS 315
Some of the cases already on the court’s docket raise issues of double jeopardy, the availability of the federal exceptions to capital punishment, and the application of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. That may change as the court expands its docket with cases raising issues involving protection of LGBTQ persons under federal anti-discrimination laws and validity of federal law protecting immigrant children (DACSA). The class will examine the facts, lower court decisions, and party’s arguments in each case apolitically, permitting class members time to note their own comments.
