Wednesday, March 7: We’ll Always Have Parasites: A Brief Exploration of Our Interactions with Disease-Causing Organisms. Parasites grow, feed, and are sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of the host. We will discuss elimination or control of these organisms.

Wednesday, March 14: Applying Precision Medicine in Parasitic Infectious Diseases.
Tropical infectious diseases can happen in our own neighborhood. We will discuss diagnostics and treatment, with special emphasis on brain parasites.
