Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

The SAT is a standardized assessment that helps colleges assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in college. Schools use the test as one predictor of academic performance in a college program.

Designed by experts, the SAT test preparation program uses actual SAT questions and provides an easy to follow preparation plan. The SAT comprises two main sections: Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing. The Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section is divided into two subtests—the Reading Test and the Writing and Language Test. There is also an optional Essay section. Test taking strategies are emphasized including question formats, time managements, and informed guessing.

Students generally take the SAT during their junior year of high school. Our SAT test prep course is ideal for rising juniors that may be taking the test for the first time, for high school students who have already taken the exam and wish to improve their score, and those younger students who are curious about the latest format of the SAT.

Deciding between the ACT and SAT?

There are several formats to choose from:

Choose the Format that Works for You!

  • Classroom-Based: Our classroom SAT Blitz/Summer Institute gives you the familiar experience of working within a traditional classroom setting with convenient online support resources.
  • Live-Online: Our online SAT Blitz/Summer Institute combines the same great program as the classroom-based SAT Blitz/Summer Institute with the added flexibility of attending class from anywhere or at any time. Our virtual classroom provides you with the opportunity to interact in real-time with our expert instructors and includes the added benefit of watching recordings of your class sessions at your convenience for up to 120 days after the course ends.

Live-Online Office Hours

Weekly live-online office hours provide a convenient way for students to get individualized help with specific questions or concerns. The live-online office hours are free-form meetings open to all participants from both Classroom-Based and Live-Online Classes. The sessions are drop-in and student-directed, so there will not be a planned presentation for each session. Instead, instructors will answer questions and work through problems in the order that they are received.

System Requirements

The live-online SAT sessions and Live-Online Office Hours are offered online using a free Adobe Connect application. The only requirements are high speed internet access and speakers or headphones. Check your system for compatibility.

Course materials will be delivered directly to your home. We recommend registering at least five (5) business days in advance of the course start date to ensure timely delivery of your student package.
