Course Description

Projects involve multiple stakeholders and can require change management to see them through to successful completion. This course teaches participants how to identify and assess stakeholders, assess the impact of change, manage resistance and engage their organization in change, and communicate that change to others.

All courses in the Project Management Program require a PMI Membership. By becoming a PMI member, you'll gain access to Standards+ and a digital version of the most recent PMBOK® Guide, both of which are required for this course.

Christopher Frey has over 25 years of experience as a project manager, program manager and business analyst. He has managed projects across multiple industries including: healthcare, higher education, financial services and software vendors (including Microsoft). He holds a masters degree in IT Project Management and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Teaching others about project management is important to Chris, and he currently is an Adjunct at Strayer University, and has developed and taught project management classes for Johns Hopkins Office of Organizational Development and Training. One comment he receives consistently from his students is that he brings real world experience and examples to the classroom that supplements content from the textbooks, and enriches the learning experience.
