This course is an introduction to project management, the roles and responsibilities of the project manager and project team, and project methodologies, including Traditional/Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies. Students will learn what happens at each stage of the project life cycle and will explore the importance of tailoring to fit their own project context.

Instructor


Donovan A. Martinez, B.S., PMP, is a senior systems engineer and project manager for rapid-prototype research and development projects for the U.S. Air Force. His expertise includes over seven years of project management experience for thc Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. He graduated with merit from the United States Naval Academy and distinguished himself as an Officer in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves.
