Monique Smalling, CPA, MBA, started her career with an international public accounting firm, where she managed audit engagements. She left to help one of her clients, a start-up software company, through their IPO. Monique was also a Senior Manager for a CPA firm. She was responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the professional staff and managing the firm's audit engagements. Monique has been teaching at the university level for over 15 years. She teaches financial, intermediate and managerial accounting, auditing, and ethics in accounting.
