A required course in the Meeting & Event Management Specialized Studies Program.

Course Description

Explore the use of entertainment to elicit the desired response from target audiences through maximizing engagement in planned events. Examine how to apply organizational principles and integrate event content, design and music with the show direction. Talent selection and management, rehearsal execution, and collaboration with technical directors and venues will also be explored.

This online course may include live webinars using an online meeting software called WebEx Training Center. The dates of these webinars would be determined during the first week of class. All webinars will be recorded and posted on the course website for those who cannot participate in the live sessions.
