Course Description

Supply chain management operates at three levels; strategic, tactical and operational. At the strategic level, company management makes high level strategic supply chain far-reaching decisions that are relevant to the entire organization. The decisions that are made with regards to the supply chain should reflect the overall corporate strategy that the organization is following. The strategic supply chain processes that management has to decide upon will cover the breadth of the supply chain. These include product development, customers, manufacturing, vendors and logistics. This course focuses on the supply chain strategic methodologies and best practices.

With over 10 years of consulting experience and 3 years of start-up experience, Paul’s experience spans from supply chain analysis, material management, strategic sourcing, manufacturing strategy, competency assessment, and business development. His industry experience includes retail, industrial equipment, energy, utilities, and telecom. He was a key member in formulating a client’s North America manufacturing strategy, as well as designed a global demand management process for another client. He holds a master’s degree in supply chain management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
