Course Description
Managing change in an organization is a dynamic process. Effective change maximizes the alignment between an organization's strategies, structure, systems and culture. It requires an understanding of the systemic interrelationships among these factors and how changes in one can affect another. This course focuses on planning and implementing change in organizations, with an emphasis on the role of leadership within an organization. Participants examine the role of leadership and the competencies and skills required of individuals who initiate, manage, and are affected by change.
NOTE: This course may have optional, live sessions via Zoom. The sessions will be recorded and posted for students who are not able to attend. The Zoom meeting link and password to join will be provided in your course. A device with audio and visual will be needed to participate. Instructor
Wendi Fast. Ed.D. is an experienced organizational development professional who has been an independent consultant directing OD and training efforts for divisions of Fortune 500 companies for over 25 years. Her work supports high priority, strategic organizational change by partnering with executive and management clients to develop and implement learning strategies, programs and content. Wendi has taught at the university level, holds a master’s degree in Organizational Communication, a doctorate in Organizational Leadership as well as several widely recognized training certifications.
