Security Architecture & Design

A required course in the Cyber Security Certificate Program.

Course Description

This course will cover principles and benefits of security architecture, trusted systems and computing base, and system and enterprise architecture along with concepts of security models and information security evaluation models (e.g. PCI-DSS). Additional topics include an overview of security capabilities, vulnerabilities, and threats and an introduction to countermeasure and defense in depth.

Prerequisite: I&C SCI X465.00 Introduction to Information Systems Security and I&C SCI X465.01 Secure Systems OR one year of experience with Information Systems Security. See enrollment confirmation for login information.
