Course Description

Learn the key components of a comprehensive retirement needs analysis. Stock options, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, non-pension-related benefits, tax favored corporate retirement plans, and non-corporate retirement plans will be explored.

Early registration recommended. The HP-12C or HP-10BII calculator is required. Required prerequisites: MGMT X433.20 Principles of Financial Analysis and MGMT X433 Survey of Personal Financial Planning or equivalent experience. This course is approved for 33 hours of Continuing Education units from the California Department of Insurance (CDI). Those requesting CE credit must sign-in to weekly CDI attendance forms. Students taking this course either in the classroom or online format will only receive CDI credit once during the two-year license renewal period.
