Examination of the role of CPAs and auditors in the issuance of Financial Statements to third parties. Standards and practice of audit, assurance, and attestation services will be presented.
Early registration recommended. You may access your online course on the first day of class by 12pm (noon) Pacific Standard Time. This course may use live sessions via Zoom. This course cannot be transferred to a UCI economics major.
Monique Smalling, CPA, MBA, started her career with an international public accounting firm, where she managed audit engagements. She left to help one of her clients, a start-up software company, through their IPO. Monique was also a Senior Manager for a CPA firm. She was responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the professional staff and managing the firm's audit engagements. Monique has been teaching at the university level for over 15 years. She teaches financial, intermediate and managerial accounting, auditing, and ethics in accounting.
