Principles of Sport Law and Finance

This unique course in Sport Law and Finance combines in-depth analysis of two critical topics related to the business of sport. Students will be exposed to a wide range of topics including key aspects of the US legal System, Tort Law, Risk Management, Sports Agency Law, Introduction to Sport Finance as well as Current Trends in Sport Business. Student learning will be influenced by relevant course readings, current sport business case studies, and participating in highly-engaging project-based assignments.
