Course Description

Learn the fundamentals of Web Design, students will be introduced to ‘design thinking’. Starting at the very beginning, students will be encouraged to understand the individual components that make up the web design process. Design techniques, processes and design technologies used today will be explored, those used in leading design companies and technology start-ups.

Prerequisites: None.

Carol Greenberg, M.S., is an experienced UX/UI design professional with a unique combination of expertise in user-centered design, usability methodologies, and creative solutions for complex interfaces. Carol had a proven track record of leading the design of innovative and elegant user interfaces for life sciences, banking and technology enterprises. Carol's clients include PG&E, Fresenius Medical North America, Finesse Solutions, Blackboard, Nikon, Microsoft, San Francisco Chronicle and KTVU TV.
