Course Description

Tactical decisions about supply chain should focus on producing cost benefits and should coincide with an organization’s overall operational plan. Learn how to maintain good long-term buyer-seller relationships. Supplier management best practices in the areas of just-in-time inventory, logistics, and handling emergency situations and special requests will be explored.

John Sarakatsannis has 30 years of project management and contracting experience in both government and the aerospace industry. He has held numerous positions in large supply chain organizations such as Boeing, Northrup Grumman, and Raytheon. During his Air Force career he managed several multi-billion dollar aircraft and space projects, and has extensive international experience managing foreign military sales programs. His professional certifications include: Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM), Project Manager Professional (PMP), and is a National Contract Management Association "Fellow". His academic accomplishments include, MS and MBA degrees.
