Course Description

The Real Estate Principles course offers an understanding of real estate to prepare the student for the California real estate licensing exam and for better management of personal investments. Subjects taught in this course include the major topics of California law, property ownership and vesting, contracts, agency issues, land use regulations, ownership and finance, property valuation methods, taxation and much more. This course applies toward the mandatory educational required to those preparing for the California State Real Estate Salesperson or Brokers License.

This online course may include webinars using an online conferencing tool called Zoom. All webinars will be recorded and posted on the course website for those who cannot participate in the life sessions. REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Principles of California Real Estate 19th Ed.

David Mashian is a Senior Vice President at Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors specializing in Retail Investment Sales for Shopping Centers and Net Leased Investments. Mr. Mashian has over 16 years of commercial real estate brokerage experience, and he leads his Mashian Associates retail specialty team with a focus on dominating shopping center sales. Mr. Mashian conducts his business on a national level by leveraging Coldwell Banker Commercial's national and international platform. Mr. Mashian looks to develop lifelong relationships with clients and puts the client's interest first to do so.
