Melissa Loble serves as Chief Customer Experience Officer for Instructure, where she drives the company-wide customer-centric focus at the company. Her role includes overseeing Instructure’s customer success, support, community and services organizations, which enable customers to successfully leverage Instructure’s solutions to create highly engaging and effective learning environments for their communities. Driving innovation and creating positive learning experiences are central pillars to Melissa’s mission.
Melissa has spent 20 years in the educational technology world, working for a number of technology suppliers and educational institutions in a variety of teaching and learning leadership capacities. She has also taught throughout her career, starting as a high school social science teacher and most currently teaching courses that focus on managing technology for educational change and crafting innovative learning environments. Melissa earned her BA in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, her MA in educational policy from Teachers’ College, Columbia University, and an MBA in leadership from the Columbia Business School.
Katharine (Katie) R. Bradford, M.S.Ed., is the vice president of partnerships for Waterford.org, a nonprofit organization that offers a kindergarten readiness program for underserved and rural children without access to regular preschool programming. Prior to that role, Katie was the chief operating officer of Construct, a creative learning design company that provides learning and multimedia design services to school districts, universities, nonprofits, and businesses. Prior to Construct, Katie spent nearly six years working in various roles at Instructure, including time spent as director of partnerships and as an instructional designer for Canvas. Katie also studied and practiced elementary education. She has presented extensively at educational technology conferences about open education and learning ecosystems, and works closely with national early childhood education programs like Head Start and the Early Learning Institute.
