Web Development Using Java EE 7

Java EE 7 is the industry standard for developing server side Java applications, and includes the Web Profile as a subset of the full Java EE platform to support web applications. During this course, students will learn how to build modern, scalable HTML5 web applications using technologies included in the Web Profile. In particular, students build an application that uses the following technologies: Java API for JSON Processing 1.0, Java API for WebSocket 1.0, JAX-RS 2.0 (client API and server asynchronous API), Servlet 3.1 and the new NIO-based API, Java Server Faces 2.2, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) 3.1, Contexts and Dependency Injection for Java (CDI) 1.1.
