Corporate Law
An elective course in the Paralegal Certificate Program. Eligible participants will earn up to 30 hours of general MCLE credit based on attendance.
Examine the laws affecting corporate entities. Corporate formation, federal and state securities law, annual corporate filings, amending articles of incorporation and bylaws, Secretary of State filing requirements, mergers & acquisitions, and dissolution of corporations will be explored.

Synchronous sessions in the Paralegal programs are a vital part of the learning experience and are required to meet ABA standards. Students must attend at least three (3) synchronous sessions during the course to meet program requirements. All sessions are recorded and available for viewing, allowing learners to engage with the content at their convenience.
