UCI Division of Continuing Education Launches Internet Marketing Webinar Series

Series Begins With April 25th Marketing Strategies Webinar

IRVINE, Calif. – April 20, 2012 – The University of California, Irvine Extension, in conjunction with the Internet Marketing Association, has launched an internet marketing webinar series to educate marketing professionals about how to leverage internet marketing strategies to grow a business. The series will begin with a free online webinar titled, “An Integrated Approach to Successful Internet Marketing,” which will be held Wednesday, April 25 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. PST and will focus on the future of internet marketing. Presented by marketing expert Sinan Kanatsiz, the webinar will also address proven marketing tactics and examples of successful campaigns.

“Last year, thousands of professionals took advantage of our internet marketing webinar, which led to our decision to launch a series to address the future of Internet marketing,” said Melanie Mitchell, director of marketing, management and business programs at UC Irvine Extension. “Webinar participants will learn about proven marketing tactics, and review examples of successful implementation.”

Kanatsiz has over 17 years of experience in creating innovative marketing campaigns for business-to-business, as well as business-to-consumer brands. His clients include Sony, eBay, Toshiba, the University of Phoenix, and more.

Webinar series participants will also be introduced to the concepts of analytics, digital marketing intelligence, online events, cloud marketing and more.

The next webinar will be held on May 23 and will be presented by Matt Langie with Adobe Systems, where he will address internet and website analytics. Additional webinars featuring hosts from notable companies including UBM Studios, Google and more, will be held in the coming months.
