Fully Customized ESL Programs

With a fully customized program, you have the freedom to choose program length, intensity, and focus. Fully customized programs provide closed classes for your group. Full-time and part-time options are available. A minimum of ten students is typically required. All students must be over the age of 15.

Fully customized programs can be held on the UCI campus, at a partner institution campus, and/or online.

Fully customized program tuition varies with each program's length, size, and features. However, typical on-campus CDP tuition is approximately $1,000 USD per week per student. Tuition does not include housing, meals, flights, or health insurance.

Hybrid ESL Programs

Groups integrated in our public ESL programs may add customized features.

Fully customized programs can be held on the UCI campus, at a partner institution campus, and/or online.

Students enrolled in UCI Division of Continuing Education programs may add a variety of custom activities and services. Course schedules may also be adjusted to be full-time or part-time. A minimum of five students is typically required for hybrid programs. All students must be over the age of 15.

Custom features may be added to all our English Language Programs. Custom activity and service fees vary. Customized pricing estimates may be requested.

Custom TEFL and Teaching Training Programs

Groups of new or experienced teachers may learn various skills and methodologies for teaching young and adult learners in a variety of topics, including English as a Foreign Language.

Fully customized programs provide closed classes for your group. Full-time and part-time options are available. A minimum of ten participants is typically required. All participants must currently hold teaching positions or be working towards a teaching degree or certificate.

English-Mediated Instruction and Faculty Development Programs

University faculty in all fields may learn techniques for lecturing in English, encouraging active learning, and creating flipped/hybrid lessons.

English-Mediated Instruction (EMI) is a growing global trend as more universities offer courses and degree programs in English. UCI Division of Continuing Education offers customized programs to help experienced faculty and new instructors deliver academic content in English to an international student body. Customized programs are designed to improve student engagement and promote good practices in higher education in all fields and languages. Full-time and part-time options are available. A minimum of five participants is typically required. All participants must currently hold teaching or faculty training positions in higher education institutions.
