THROUGH A WINE GLASS TO BURGUNDY

Through a Wine Glass to Burgundy
SE 411
Format A

Burgundy is one of Europe’s oldest and most notable wine regions, producing both exceptional white wines (Chardonnay) and red wines (Pinot Noir). In this class, we will discuss the history and variety of wines from this region. We will taste samples from various subregions that demonstrate the influences that difference soils and climates have on the taste of these wines. We will make a geographical tasting tour of both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir growing regions.

Presenter: Dr. Alvin Glasky has been giving lectures and wine tastings at OLLI as well as UCI Extension for over 15 years. His classes have been both informative and great fun and have always been filled to their limited capacity.
