RUSSIA AND THE RUSSIANS - A VAST TOPIC

RUSSIA AND THE RUSSIANS - A VAST TOPIC
SS 314
Format B/C

As the world is opening to allow a better understanding of the culture of other countries, it is pertinent to review the world of Russia and of the Russians. Russia is the largest country of the world and has a captivating history. We shall review its economy, social structure, civilization, culture, and the arts, as well as the changing political systems over centuries. It is only through an objective review of the Russian world that we’ll be able to adopt a dispassionate understanding of a unique world, very different from ours in many respects.
