This series will trace the development of modern European civilization from the 14th century to the present. This class will examine the epochs known as the French Revolution and the Age of Napoleon.

October 8: The Enlightenment sparks the American and French Revolutions
October 15: The French Revolution
October 22: The Napoleonic Empire
October 29: The Impact of Napoleon’s reign on the politics of the 19th Century

Presenter: Rainer Feldt,
has taught European history at Saddleback College for 16 years, served as an AP European History grader for the College Board and is a frequent OLLI presenter.
