The major botanical, zoological, anthropological and art museums of Europe and North America harbor a concealed history of African knowledge and contributions to modern science. A detailed tour by Professor Mitchell of behind-the-scenes collections in London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, and Chicago will offer a way to re-evaluate relationships between Africa and imperial powers.
