BREAKING NEWS FROM THE MET: Sportin’ Life (Porgy and Bess) will drug Senta (Flying Dutchman) to make sure she falls in love with the Dutchman. He will also poison Mary (Maria Stuarda) to keep her from competing against Nero for his mother’s (Agrippina) throne. This should be fun.

Presenter/Developer: George Rothman,
who continues to regale OLLI members with his opera presentations. They bear witness to his passion, and his expert knowledge. He has a degree in music, has studied opera all his life, and was a supernumerary at Opera Pacific.
