California culture a half century ago was open to multiple approaches to drawing and painting. Renowned artist Timothy J. Clark will show how he combines a variety of these movements in his contemporary figurative artwork. Clark is highly noted for his creative use of paint, particularly watercolor, in his poetic interiors, figures, portraits, and urban landscapes.

Is a highly acclaimed artist with over seventy works in permanent museum collections including UCI’s Buck Collection. He has lectured on drawing and painting for the graduate program at Yale University.
