LIVING WELL: MIGRAINS AND HEADACHES - How To Ease the Pain
SC 211 LIVING WELL: MIGRAINES AND HEADACHES - How to Ease the Pain
Class format C
More people complain about headaches than any other medical ailment and they are the most common disorders of the nervous system. They are pandemic, and in many cases life-long conditions. Headache disorders impose a burden on sufferers: substantial personal suffering, impaired quality of life and financial costs. Repeated headache attacks, and often the constant fear of the next, damage family life, social life, and employment. The long-term effect of coping with chronic headache disorders may lead to other conditions including depression. We will look at various aspects of headaches and their treatment.
