Eli Simon and Julia Lupton will provide overviews of the plays for the upcoming New Swan Shakespeare Festival Season: Pericles, Prince of Tyre and The Comedy of Errors. They will discuss how they share central themes such as families lost and found, self and societal identity, chaos and order, and rebirth. Audience members will read passages from both plays.

Presenters: Eli Simon is Co-Director of UCI’s Shakespeare Center and the founding Artistic Director and Managing Producer of New Swan Shakespeare Festival. Julia Lupton, Co-Director of UCI’s Shakespeare Center, is an internationally known and revered authority on, and teacher of, Shakespeare’s work.
